Matching Marriott Bonvoy Status To National Executive Elite
First of all, sign up to National Emerald Club if you aren’t already a member. You’ll need information from your driver’s license to join. National Emerald Club is free but you will need to add a payment method to sign up. This is standard for a lot of car rental companies.
When you sign up, you can select a Rewards Preference (eg. National Emerald Club Car Rental Credits or Enterprise Plus). You can change your selection at any time by going to ‘Rewards’ and ‘Modify’ under ‘Rewards Preferences’. Just bear in mind that Rental Credits are more valuable for National Executive Elite members than base level members.
Once you’re through to your account page, note down your National Emerald Club number.
Next, login to your Marriott Bonvoy account and take a screenshot of your Marriott status. You’ll need this and the National Emerald Club number to complete the match.
Before you complete the match, bear in mind that you can only match National status once. Your matched status will expire on February 28th, the 2nd year following the match. Once that date passes, you’ll have to earn National status the usual way.
To status match, head to the National Emerald Club Status Match page and fill in the online form. You’ll need to enter your name, National Emerald Club number and National email address. Then, you’ll upload the screenshot of your Marriott Bonvoy status.
National are quite quick at matching status. You should hear back within a couple of days. If you’ve not heard back within 3 or 4 days, I’d suggest contacting National and asking for an update.
