How To Status Match Marriott To Best Western Diamond Select
/If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium or Ambassador member, you can status match to Best Western Diamond Select, the highest Best Western rewards tier. Here’s how to status match, plus the benefits you’ll receive as a Diamond Select member.

Matching Marriott Bonvoy Status To Best Western Diamond Select
Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members can status match to the highest Best Western Rewards level, Diamond Select. Similarly, Marriott Gold members can status match to Best Western Diamond (their 2nd highest tier) and Marriott Silver members can status match to Best Western Platinum (their 3rd highest tier).
To complete the status match, first sign up to Best Western Rewards (if you haven’t already). I’d recommend signing up through the US website since you’ll be granted a global login and you can use the benefits of your status in other countries like the UK.
Once you’ve done that, sign in to Best Western Rewards and make a note of your membership number.
Now, head to your Marriott Bonvoy account and screenshot your Marriott status. You’ll use this as evidence to get your status matched.
Before you status match, bear in mind that although you’ll only remain a Diamond Select member until the end of the next calendar year, Best Western do allow you to rematch. That means you’ll be able to keep top tier status with Best Western as long as you retain your Marriott status.
Now that you’ve got your Best Western membership number and Marriott status screenshot, you’re going to email StatusMatch@bestwestern.com (email bwr.service@bestwestern.com if you’re based in Europe) using the email template below:

Best Western are really efficient status matchers. You should get your Best Western status within a few hours. Once Best Western email you confirming the match, I’d login to your Best Western Rewards account to check the match has gone through ok.
