Status Matching Hyatt Globalist To Best Western Diamond Select
First, if you haven’t done so already, sign up to Best Western Rewards. Whether you’re USA-based or not, signing up through the US site grants you access to Best Western Rewards in other countries like the UK. You’ll share the same login and tier status. Once you’ve got an account, login and note down your Best Western membership number.
Next, login to your World of Hyatt account and take a screenshot of your Hyatt Globalist status. You’ll need to provide this as evidence of your status to complete the match.
To complete the match, you’re now going to send an email to StatusMatch@bestwestern.com (bwr.service@bestwestern.com if you’re a European member) using the email template below:

Best Western are renowned for confirming status matches within a very short timeframe. Most people will receive an email confirming the status match within a couple of hours. Once confirmed, I’d suggest logging into your Best Western Rewards account to check the match has gone through ok.
You’ll remain a Diamond Select member until the end of the next calendar year. But the good news is that as long as you retain Hyatt Globalist membership, you can keep rematching to Best Western Diamond Select.
Best Western Diamond Select Benefits
Diamond Select is Best Western’s highest status level. Usually, you have to hit a minimum number of nights, stays or points to qualify for a higher tier. The 5 tiers and standard requirements are usually: Blue (0 Nights/Stays/Points), Gold (10 Nights/7 Stays/10,000 Points), Platinum (15 Nights/10 Stays/15,000 Points), Diamond (30 Nights/20 Stays/30,000 Points) and Diamond Select (50 Nights/40 Stays/50,000 Points).
