The list below states the minimum and sometimes maximum height requirements for rides and attractions throughout the park. Shows aren’t included as those have no height requirements.

Minimum height requirements at Universal Studios Japan, when in place, range from 92cm (”) to 132cm (55”).

Universal Studios Japan caters well for those of any height and age. In fact, it offers a lot more attractions for guests of any height than Universal Studios Orlando. A minority of attractions (17 of 37) have a minimum height requirement, however they are some of the most popular rides in the park. Their ‘Child Switch’ service also helps when only some members of your party meet the height requirement.

Universal Studios Japan Child Switch Service

‘Child Switch’, available on select attractions, can help if a member of your party is too small to ride.

1 or 2 group members can stay with the child that’s too small to ride in a designated area whilst the rest of the group rides. The riders can then switch with the guests that initially stayed with the child and skip the line.
